Transformation & beautification of the Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree

The purpose of the project is to renovate and beautify the area surrounding the Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree, creating a more attractive and welcoming environment for one of our many well-known tourist attractions. The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree in Grenada is a stunning natural landmark situated at the start of the Grand Etang Rainforest, coming from the St. George’s side. The tree is famous for its “painted” appearance, where shedding bark reveals a neon green inner layer, which ages into shades of bright red, orange, blue, and purple. It serves as a popular, eye-catching landmark on the way to the lush forest reserves of the island.

Known scientifically as Eucalyptus deg,upta.

It is often considered one of the most colourful trees in the world.
